Creator and Culinary Curator, Ryan Gish

Born and raised in Nebraska, Owner Ryan Gish began his career with many private, locally owned restaurants in Omaha, NE after graduating from The Colorado Institute of Culinary Arts in 2002.  While in college, Gish worked full-time at both The Avenue Grill and Alex Brooks Fine Catering, both companies uniquely successful and very distinguished. At just 22, Gish opened his first Bistro in Omaha, where he showcased his passion for quality and creativity and exhibited a tremendous work ethic.

After getting his feet wet with his first bistro, Gish knew he had more to offer and wanted to give Omaha a true fine dining experience as well as offer a venue that provided more variety in the menu. He soon accepted offers to open and manage large, upscale restaurants over a period of six years. His most noteworthy success came in 2008 when Gish was offered the opportunity by David Scott to own a prestigious Bistro in West Omaha as an Executive Chef and Curator. At Ryan’s Bistro in The Lakeside Shoppes, Gish was well known for  his white truffle risotto, premium steaks, pork osso buco, filet oscar, and famous mac-n-cheese. Gish quickly became one of Omaha’s best known chef’s - well known and liked for his creative cooking and flavorful, pleasurable dishes.

After spending over 15 years in the restaurant industry, Gish wanted more work/time flexibility and the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends. He felt catering would allow him the flexibility to work shorter days but keep him doing what he loves: cooking to please palettes. Catering also allows Gish to prepare more customized dishes and gives him more freedom to express his culinary creativeness.

His unique take on the details of food preparation, presentation and his passion for cooking are made evident by the countless number of loyal followers he has served.
